Traversing the slot of doom! Going up was easy, but getting out again took a good 30 minutes or more (much to the amusement of the ATV guys zooming through), and I ended up with a busted passenger-side mirror. Had we coutinued south from this point instead of turning around (see map) we would have encountered a narrow, exposed, steep, scary hump I wasn't ready to attempt. Maybe next time, in a smaller truck!
